Tahirah Manesah Abu Bakar has rich, multi-faceted corporate experience spanning 17 years in Human Resources, Legal and Management across a spectrum of industries including manufacturing, construction, dredging and reclamation, property management, port services, education, F&B, and water management.
Tahirah has served in managerial and advisory capacities in public listed and MNC corporations with global subsidiaries and performed independent consulting work with companies in Malaysia and overseas. Her corporate training exposure includes Federal and State government agencies and as well as corporate organisations.
She has also taught English for all levels from students to high net worth individuals at language specialist schools. English is also Tahirah’s natural tongue, having been raised communicating bilingually in English and Bahasa Malaysia and attending a private school.
Tahirah holds an LL.B (Hons) from University of Greenwich, United Kingdom and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM). She is pursuing postgraduate research in Critical Discourse Analysis of Constructive Dismissal Judgement Texts and currently lectures in Law at City University College of Science and Technology, Malaysia.
